"A good neighborhood market to good for hot food and some groceries"
"Went in to get a beef roast and was super excited they had one. I always shop here to get my pork but wanted a change. It looked beautiful while it was frozen. When I thawed it out it just came apart in layers. At this point I'm not sure that it's even beef and I know I'm not gonna be able to smoke it and make shredded beef with it. Won't be going back after this. The guy guesses on the prices and would charge me more for a bone in pork but than a boneless. Beware"
"I'm giving 5 stars bc I want everyone to know that they make the best damn menudo in Austin. Right here. And an excellent menudo is surprisingly hard to come by in this town."
"Handmade tamales available. Good selection of fresh desserts and the kind in the wrapper. Speak English, but most are fluent Español. You can still find what you need the store is laid out in category."
"This Is THE store to go to for amazing tamales. The sad part is that because the tamales are so delicious, they sell out fast. Waiting for new batches to be made can be a bit painful. However, when you arrive just as a new batch has been made... they're really to die for. Also the bread selection (sweet and non sweet) is excellent. Very flavorful!"
