"I’m Nigerian and came here because I wanted to support the store. The cashier (who I believe to be the owner) was so astronomically rude to me when I asked him a simple question about their jollof rice plates stock it was ridiculous. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially when you’re coming to spend your hard earned money to patron a store. It was so disrespectful that I vow to never return here, I will keep my business with the other African store in Austin, they at least don’t treat their customers like scum of the earth."

"Be prepared for a very African experience. I went expecting a bunch of produce (cause farmers market) but when I got there with my 2 year old daughter there was only a very limited selection of produce. However, the staff was very kind and helped us in anyway that we needed and they had a lot of really interesting and unique products including authentic British biscuits, teas, cookie and snacks, African beverages, a fish monger and a bakery that sells whole loafs of freshly baked bread"

"Great African Market. They offer a wide variety of mostly nigerian goods with freshly made selection of nigerian dishes available a la carte. They have rice, goat meat, porridge, puff puff, meat pie, egg roll, designer stew etc. If you're looking for a place to do your African food shopping, then there's no better place."
