"The two ladies there were so helpfu and didn't make us feel like we were out of place. My husband and i was looking for Sumac and Tahini. At first one lady assisted us in looking for it and was unable to find it and suddenly both ladies were helping us look for the item in the store. We were able to make shawarma with it this weekend and it was delicious. We also bought some chicken breasts and a particular rice(laxmi extra extra long grain basmati) which we swear by and couldn't find it anywhere in Houston since moving here. This is going to be our regular go to place for Indian and mediterranean grocery just because service was pleasantly unexpected (price was reasonable too). We recommend everyone to support them. Edited to say - Came to purchase our chickens(finished by the time we arrived but would be available the next day) and my specific type of rice (unavailable). Under new management now (2023) it looks very well stocked and feels "fresh". Unfortunately hubs and i were pressed for time today so we couldn't peruse the aisles, much as we wanted to. Mr. Muhammad (probably the new owner) and Ms Alina was awesome and helpful! Mr.Muhammad even offered drinks to us when he found out how far we drove to the shop and the items weren't available. Really humble and friendly people."
