"I started shopping here years ago because of the great produce they had. Now, they've got the worst around. Moldy fruit, hard as a rock peaches, soggy kale, etc. Also, seems like it doesn't matter what time of day you get there, never a cart in sight. Time to move on to a better store. UPDATE: have been back several times and it seems their moldy produce issue has been resolved. Next, I'll shop for other items they were lacking in quality to see if they've improved. So, I'll upgrade them a star, for now. UPDATE: It looks like they've improved dramatically, their cashiers are actually friendly now, greet and thank you as well. The produce has also improved dramatically. The shopping cart situation has also improved, seems they have their employees go and collect them more often now. I'll upgrade them another star."
"Ok so I have shopped this store on several occasions and I am questioning the quality of their meat. When they have a sell on their meat in the meat cases. Their meats are old and taste old. You may get fresher meat but buyer beware! Kroger’s quality has gone down considerably. .."
"That idiotic Mix kitchen shutting down is probably the best thing that that could have possibly happened to this store. You gutted a quarter of the grocery store for a takeout kitchen??? The international aisles suffered, the housewares area suffered. Organics and specialty items suffered, bulk goods suffered. You could have done anything with that section of the store, instead you decided to install a slop kitchen for local restaurants to slop out their trash food. Tear that *** out and bring back actual groceries. Build a world class meat or fish market in its place so that your customers have more to choose from than just pre-cut pork chops and farm raised salmon. Or build a little area for people to take cooking classes and enrich their lives. Rebuild your international aisles and hire some international grocery consultants that know there is more to Asian food than seventeen different brands of soy sauce. Anything other than another slop kitchen. I love shopping at my Kroger, but I despise that takeout kitchen nonsense."
"They fully have a bar. That one got me. Like, You can sit down at a table and have a glass of wine or beer in the beer and wine section… genius. That’s so smart of them. Grab drinks with a friend, your prescription, broccoli, sushi, balloons, fresh cut flowers, and a rotisserie chicken all at one location… I’m floored. Well played, Kroger. They have a Starbucks, as well. Also some form of meal prep thing I’ve never heard of."
