Food Town

"We purchased this boudin from the Food Town today and it’s was extremely rotten. It’s still in date but it doesn’t seem like they stored it correctly causing it to rot. We called the store and the manager said we cannot return it. We advised her that we didn’t want a refund, we just wanted to exchange it for fresh ones but she said no. Judging from some of these reviews, they have a habit of bad food/meat so I think it’s time I make a phone call to Department of Health, ServeSafe, and their corporate office. I know it’s only $6 but I almost fed this rotten pork to my family. THEN we would have had an even bigger problem."

"This store is always so clean and not crowded, I love shopping here. I love that I can get in and out without any problems or a long line. I just wish they would put the right prices on items, you get to the register and something rings up more than the shelf says it cost."

"This was my first visit to this food town off of 1960 and Ella and the experience was great. This was a very clean organized well stocked grocery store. This store has great prices verses Kroger and H‑E‑B and the employees I ran into were very polite and helpful. The only bad review on this store is the lack of grocery carts probably cause people are stealing them other than that a great grocery store and I was very impressed !"

"I shop here at least 1-2 times every week. Affordable prices (even before/without the weekly sales). Still, there are times I've purchased either a brand I'm unfamiliar with or a food I may not have tried otherwise and 9/10 I've bought it again. They offer a nice selection of produce as well; wish the meat department head a few more options and it would be great if you could pick up seafood here from behind a counter instead of the freezer."
