"It is a small place. Do not think traditional zoo when you drive out here. Manage your expectations. That said, where else can you walk right up to a Galapagos turtle? Be super close to Lions and tigers and bears, oh my? But still safe, of course. There were zookeepers all around, who were all happy to answer questions. Everyone was actively cleaning the park. We had a really fantastic time."

"My wife and I visited this zoo and really enjoyed it. There were many animals, reptiles and birds to see. It was great to see some that I have never seen in a zoo or anywhere else. The cages and living spaces were all pretty clean and natural for each species. If you enjoy a trip to the zoo, this is a great place to visit."
"It's a cute little zoo and a good price to spend an hour or two. There's a petting area in the center of the zoo, you can feed some of the animals for a small fee for the food. Really nice gift shop and lots of little areas to sit and eat lunch. You can also ride the train for $5.00."
