"This park can be found off Cypresswood, down from 249. It has one single playground that's really colorful and is big enough, with a small rock climbing wall and two slides. There are no swings but there are a few benches, grills, a short trail, and a field next to the playground for soccer and running around. This place has public restrooms but I have not used them. Small but nice."
"My son likes coming here because there’s rarely a ton of kids. When he wants to practice soccer or fly a kite or just have enough room to run around this is our go to park. Because it’s clean, and it’s wide-open so there’s no places for creepy people to hide and abduct your child. Not that that’s happening at other parks here but you got to be vigilant you know what I mean. I like to walk down to the water aka Cypress Creek and fish for a few minutes when we come here. I’ve seen a couple of huge snakes though so please be cautious and don’t go down there alone. Sometimes there’s trails pushed down through the weeds so you can walk very easily up to the sand and just fish right there. Other times the weeds gotten too high up and there’s just too many creepy crawlies to risk trudging through to get to the water. And all honesty I have not yet caught a fish at this location. But I have seen them and I know of other people have caught them here. If you catch anything from the creek at this spot please comment or leave a review so I know not to give up on it here."
"Nice park. Picnic tables were spacious and away from the play area; area itself is really great. It tends to be more crowded weekdays after school or mid day on the weekends. Soccer field is pretty big, lots of parking. We go about twice a week, love it."
"Nice little park. Wish there was more shade options. Grills at every table are a nice touch. If you walk towards the bayou you will find trails down to the water. Fun nature outing with the kids."
