"They never have beds available and one of them has been out of service for over 3 months. Loved it at first but staff doesn’t seem to care that customers are paying a promised service and not getting any value. When I have voiced my frustrations the staff just roll their eyes."

"For a while all the staff were knowledgeable, professional and SO friendly! It really set them apart as a business. Over the last year (give or take) that aspect has gone downhill. The girls always look bored or annoyed, and talk loudly with each other about personal drama (including complaining about their job/boss) making no effort to clean up their language in front of customers. I can get past that, but my biggest complaint is that they make little to no effort to communicate closures. The hours displayed on Apple Maps and Google Maps are both inaccurate, which is an easy fix. And I feel like in 2024, there are ample methods to share updates with customers - Facebook, Mobile App, Text Alerts, etc. and yet I regularly (and frequently) drive all the way up to this location only to find a paper sign on the door saying they decided to close. The mobile app they offer has never worked correctly for the 3 years I've been there, so it always lets you make an appointment even if that time is not available which defeats the purpose... These seem like very basic issues with simple resolutions. If nothing else please PLEASE start posting on Facebook or have your customers sign up for text alerts or something for better communication. Your members deserve better, and anything would be better than the current system!"

"This is the worst experience I have ever had with a tanning salon. I've been using tanning beds responsibly for 15+ years. Last year, the ownership of Planet Beach changed. I returned two weeks ago to find the business completely rundown from previous years. My favorite bed, the Sun Angel (bed #3) has only about half of its features working. And management apparently has no intentions of fixing the equipment. The push buttons are so worn out, you cannot even see what you're pushing. Also be aware, the incredibly over priced products. I was charged $10 for a sample packet of a tanning lotion. The same sample packets on Amazon are $1.00 The bottle of tanning lotion I use, I was charged almost $75 for at Planet Beach. The same lotion on Amazon is $40. I am currently trying to get my membership refunded."
