"Agree with other postings that this a really nice little gem of a park. Clean, well maintained, kid/handicap friendly. You’re only couple of blocks off the end of jet runway so it can get a little loud, especially during winter time when north winds makes it the takeoff end. The walking loop in park is smooth concrete, perfect for walkers and strollers. For those mobility impaired but adventurous, walking trail long Cibolo Creek is for the most part, concrete stabilized packed gravel. First dry creek crossing is bit of a challenge but the trail past it is easy and level enough for most. Be warned it can be a rough ride if using mobility equipment designed for indoor use."

"The new playground is a child's dream come true. They can slide, climb, hang & jump from item to item. Each child is a friend to the next, even if they've never met. One little girl that was playing with my grand kids; ran by with her hands in the air, screaming, "I have a friend!!!" It was so sweet and heartwarming it brought a tear to my eye. Now, the reason for 4 stars. They have a horrible mosquito problem. I know there's a creek, but these were BAD!! Secondly, the merry-go-round is a winner by the kiddo's of all ages!! Including myself at first. As they installed it so it is even with the ground. No more falling off. Just rolling. Such a clever idea, right? Not so much when you are about 12-18 months the parents are at the picnic table & she rolls off. The merry-go-round continues to spin as her head gets hit with the metal bar. All you could hear was, "waaaa thump waaa thump waaa thump".There has to be a correction to fix those bars, perhaps foam or a pool noodle? If you have little ones, please keep a close eye on them. "Brought 3 children and they had a really nice time and experience. Parents seem to watch out for their children. Very nice setup and it is kept very clean. The children's playground is relatively new. I would say over the past 3 months. Today's date is October 17, 2023."

"Wide space for kids to run around with an elaborate play set for the kids. Several covered tables available for use with surveillance at each table. With access to the Cibolo creek but limited on-site parking. Park available for reservations from the city for parties. Great atmosphere for the family to enjoy the kiddos."

"It’s a nice park and as an added bonus you can see and hear many Jets coming in for landing."
