Converse North Park

"Nice park for some family fun, great covered play areas for the young ones and the young at heart. Picnic tables, bathrooms, and walking trails. But the best part is there's a small lake for fishing, or as we in Texas call it a pond to drop a line in. Pets welcome. The only draw back for me is not enough trees so hardly any shade, and none over the picnic tables, but its still a nice place to go play like a kid. There also a basket ball court and volleyball area, oh and for the BBQ masters, there are small grills. There is a covered pavillion really nice sized for those big events that need space. Nice park overall"

"My daughter had a blast at this park. It was our first time here, it won't be our last. Several different playgrounds, a football field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and plenty of space for bicycles and skateboarding. There are picnic tables and grills, along with a fishing lake the park has it all. Before coming here, we had heard about the zipline swing, so we were looking forward to that, and although my little one enjoyed it, it is quite difficult to operate without adult assistance. They isn't much shade at this park, except over the playgrounds so I imagine in the hot months we probably won't come here. I like that they have an actual building for the restrooms and not just Porto pots."

"Great place to bring the kids, fish, have a picnic, ride a bike, or just go for a walk. This place seems to be kept up pretty good, not a lot of trash on the ground or in the water that I could see. Will definitely be back!"
