"Awesome trailhead. Lots of shaded parking area. Mostly tree shaded bike, walk, run trail. Has land bridge for animals to cross over busy streets. Highly recommend"
"Great family park thats there for people of all ages. 3 year old has endless fun there. Clearly lots of places to run. Felt safe and loved by the community. Will definitely return."
"This park is nice with plenty of parking and trees for shade. They have a playground for kids. Clean restrooms and water fountains. Many trails for walking or running. Some of the wider paved paths are for biking. All the areas are well maintained. You will find plenty of wildlife throughout the park. Deer are prevalent along with a wide variety of birds. In the early morning you will also see rabbits land/or squirrels. As the day warms up you may encounter lizards or even a rat snake. A wonderful place to enjoy nature."
"Today, I was surprised at how well-maintained and laid-out the parking areas, trails, and signage are presented. The mixed trail floorings (natural, decomposed granite, paved concrete) provide a refreshing variety of textures and sounds for a very pleasant walking experience. My Garmin GPS overshot the East park entrance, but in turning around at the next street I ran across Blanco BBQ (serendipity!) and made a graceful roundabout to the entrance. The traffic flow in the parking area is marked ONE-WAY with a reason, but there were still mentally chlenged drivers who fought the flow of traffic to take a parking spot. Luckily, no wildlife were harmed during my final leave after my group walk. Despite the idiots who don't recognize the established rules, this was a very nice and welcome experience. Definately rated for another visit... FIVE STARS!"
"Hardberger Park is one of the reasons why I love San Antonio, Texas. So much beauty inside the city and sometimes it's hard to believe that you are still in the 7th largest city in America. Whether you are here for the park itself or just passing through on the Greenway this Park has so much to offer from bird/wildlife blinds recently installed as was the massive land bridge to allow people and wildlife to cross in safety the expressway. I crossed the land bridge and was very impressed as I had been watching it being built over the previous years and am happy with my tax money being spent on making such parks and green spaces to keep San Antonio beautiful. God bless Texas and San Antonio!"
