Deluxe Nail Salon- Hulen

"My regular girl was out last week at another salon so I thought I’d try Deluxe out. My technician was Becca. When I left, I thought my nails looked really nice. This was Friday 2/23/24. By 2/25, I noticed my right thumbnail had lifted and the dip on top had broken off. So, I tried to file my thumb nail down to the where the broken dip stopped. The next day, my middle finger did the same and yet again, I tried to make it look the best I could by filing it down. Now Tuesday, the thumb on my left finger has done the same. Now, when you pay $65 for a manicure, I do not believe I should be having to “fix” my own nails three days later. If they would have been done properly; this would not have been an issue. It was clear the bonding material to help the dip stay was not done correctly, if at all. If you know dip, it’s so hard to remove and this was flaking off like regular polish! I went in to have them fix. They would only fix the three nails that have currently lifted and broken. Even though common sense would tell you I will have the same problem on the rest of the nails eventually. And I don’t have time to come back everyday that this happens. And why should I? I paid for a manicure that is not adhering! They refused to do all the nails. Only correct the ones that have broken. If you don’t back your services, what good is that? However; even worse, the manager, older gentleman, is extremely rude. Kept walking away from me while I was speaking to him. Would not look me in the face. Because he knew he was wrong and I was right. The proof is in the photos. They sure are extremely nice when you walk in and are giving them your $. But when it comes to backing up their services, they run. Poor customer service. So take this as your warning. Don’t take your chances. Go elsewhere."

"$75 manicure with dip. 9 of my nails broke within 4 days. I called and was told to come back to get them fixed. They wanted me to pay half price to have them fixed. I left. Worst manicure ever! I have been getting my nails done for 30 plus years and have never had them break and chip like this. Do not go to this salon!"

"My favorite nail salon!!! I’ve had my nails done at Clearfork, waterside and a bunch of other nail salons. None of them hold a candle to Deluxe Nail Salon by central market!! My personal favorite’s are Josey and Stephen!"

"Went to Fab Nail Bar in Dallas and they did an AWFUL job. Ann at Deluxe Nail Salon informed me that my nails are lifting because they're not bonded correctly and one is infected (not pictured). Have to get another NEW acrylic set next time, but I'm thankful for the service provided today/here in general."

"I’ve been visiting this business for about a year now and my positive experiences have always outweighed a few average ones. But today’s experience was by far the worst I have ever had at any nail salon. I set an appointment at Deluxe Nail Salon for 2:30, and I had to wait 30 minutes while other guests were being seated, some that didn’t even have an appointment. Once I finally had my nail lady come to me at 3:05, I prefaced the conversation by saying that I needed my dip removed and wanted a classic manicure, which meant no more dip because my nails were incredibly thin and I wanted to strengthen them. I also told her that these were my real nails and I did not have acrylics in case the removal process for acrylics was different (my nails were very long and could have been mistaken to have been acrylics). My lady immediately brings out her large clippers and aggressively clips them incredibly close to where my nails ended without even asking me if I wanted them at a certain length. My pinky nail, as you can see in the photo, was cut far too short and started to bleed right away. She didn’t even happen to notice that she cut my skin until 10 minutes after. She did feel bad and apologize, but it’s incredibly inconsiderate to be so rough with my nails that you can’t even tell where they start and end. Also, she left dip on my nails and didn’t finish filing them either. This was $23- for a simple dip removal and manicure. And even with the bad experience, she didn’t offer to take a little off of the price of the manicure for her mistakes. Completely ridiculous to begin with, but even more so when the quality of the manicure was this bad. An appointment for a simple classic manicure went from 2:30 to 4- 1 and a half ours. I am completely disappointed in the way I was treated today in this nail salon, and I am sad to say I will not be frequenting this business again. I’m sure my bank account will not be so sad though because they are overpriced anyways. I am glad to say that the salon has contacted me and reimbursed me for this purchase. This will not be enough for me to visit this business again, but I do appreciate their ability to recognize when they have made a mistake. Maybe this will be a learning experience for them to not make the same mistakes with customers that visit in the future."
