"This place was so great. The bartenders were fast even though it was crazy busy. The drink specials are just fun to have. I really enjoyed their beer and shot special. This place is meant to have a great time. The location is also great."
"Seeing a show at the Paper Tuger is a great time. The parking in the beauty lots and streets is relatively easy to navigate and you don't have to walk too long of a distance from where you parked to get to get to your vehicle, which is a huge plus. The venue is the perfect size for a more intimate concert experience. We stood at the far back of the room by the bar and heard and saw the whole show perfectly from how far back we were. The bartenders are quick and efficient, and the drinks are on the pricier end, but not unusual for a music venue."
"First time visiting there, absolutely amazing booking venue, two stages, I felt safe the whole time, I even took my nine year old, and we were super satisfied with the show, may be a little bit more security presence, but other than that everything was absolutely phenomenal. Big ups to the booking agent to be able to get story of the year in there, hoping to go back this weekend. Great place, we will definitely be back."
"This is one of the bastions of true show culture No huge festival crowd standing around barely paying attention, no stage that's so far away you can barely see anyone on it, no stupid "please no crowd surfing"signs. It's an intimate, exciting venue that provides a real show experience. I saw Polaris with Currents and Varials here and was overall very impressed. The bathrooms are relatively clean, there was actually enough soap, and the line was never too long. There are two bars: one at the back of the stage area and one outside in the nice attached seating courtyard. It's the perfect spot if you have to go take a phone call or relax for a minute or socialize with some friends between sets. The drinks aren't cheap but that's standard venue pricing. I really loved the layout of having the large doors on the sides of the main hall. Right as things were getting a bit warm they pulled up the large roller doors and the crowd had a little more room to move with a nice cool breeze. Security was nailing it all night and did A great job, and the sound quality was largely excellent with the small note that the bass drops caused everything else to get severely muddy (but who cares I guess) Can't wait to come back here for another show soon"
