"I’ve never been to a Mexican buffet before and didn’t even realize it was a buffet because I’m so white and this place is so Mexican, but that’s what I was looking for and man, was I blown away. It was so good! The flour tortillas were made on site and you can tell they’re fresh. They even had Mexican spaghetti! Delicious! Seriously though, everything was delicious and I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the RGV."

"Horrible menudo! I keep giving this place a chance every weekend but it seems they just don't care. Unless, of coarse, you take it back and complain. Only then will they replace it with a decent "looking" menudo. Seems they bank on/prey on nice people who would rather stay quiet and not complain. If only Tamales Guadalajara had their menudo ready early, I would never again waste my time and money here. Very little meat with only 2 (! Are you even trying at this point?!) kernels of corn. The first 2 centimeters was nothing but floating fat and grease. Granted, I'm not going to win any awards for healthy eating anytime soon... But (!) I still don't want eat spoonfuls of grease. Overall: Yet another Saturday morning ruined."

"These folks treated us great! I had a group of 13 people traveling to work at a children's home in Mexico and we broke down right in front of this place. We ate lunch, which was delicious, and we hung out for 2 1/2 waiting for someone to pick us up. The staff was exceptional and the food tasted great! Thank you, Big G!"
