"we were going to stay here but after reading reviews and seeing that people have been compaining about the road in for a while and nothing being done about it, we decided not to go. if you own a business, youre responsible for up keep and th safe passage of everyone on your roads aparently this is not important or a priority on this campgrounds list"
"Before driving into this TT do you know how much a front end alignment costs or how much to replace you struts or maybe have your slides realigned? You may want to get a estimate because its likely you will need it. Huge gouges in the road, reviews complaining about this awful road going back a long time implies the owners could care less about what it does to your coach. I will never go back there again. Staff was nice and helpful it is a shame these people have to take the heat for the owners leaving the road in such a state. absolutely the worst road I have ever seen."
"Love being here! Beautiful atmosphere! Quiet! Entry road into park needs attention badly and will probably bring in more people if was fixed properly. Office staff is amazing!"
"We are traveling across the United States and ran across this campgrounds. Started reading the reviews. Well we decided to stay anyways. We are so glad we did. One the staff is amazing. Thank you for all the information. The road in, yes it's a little rough but it's a campgrounds. It's first come fist choice. Spot 220 is great, we did not need Sewer for the one night. I could go on and on but this is a nice place nice lake also."
"We stayed two nights here as a part of our free camping pass for purchasing our camper. The staff are so sweet, there was an abundance of wildlife and the campsites are well maintained. The cabins look like the more enjoyable experience for sure. The putt putt course leaves a lot to be desired, and the amount of dog feces on the "beach area" made walking the beach (mostly rocks) almost impossible. I also don't know if this was a one time thing or not, but the sewer smell at our site was so strong we couldn't sit outside for a good portion of the day. I really want to love this thousand trails because it has so much more potential than the others we've visited, but we probably won't visit again once our free camping pass expires."
