"We first met Rob Walker, the owner, when we were searching for just the right wood and/or wood-look tile. We had been to several places and were having trouble finding something with just the right amount of rustic look/feel. I was leaning more toward the wood-look tile for all the practical reasons, but my wife wasn't sold. Rob was extremely friendly and definitely knew his products, being able to quickly answer any questions/concerns. We discussed the pros/cons with Rob and needless to say he helped sway my wife on the wood-look tile. We scheduled Mike Jones to come out to our home and show us some samples. Mike Jones is a real character and he should really have his own stand-up act... He always managed to get a few laughs out of us! Mike was quite helpful in finding the flooring that fit our needs and showing us samples. He has a lot of experience, knew his products, and if he didn't know the answer, he found out. He may be a bit old-school and unconventional in his methods, but was on-the-money with his estimate. Mike is cautious and doesn't like there to be surprises, which I appreciate. He wanted to make sure we were covered as far as materials and he assured us that any materials not used would be deducted before the final bill. He also showed great care for our family regarding the demo process, told us exactly what to expect and gave us a lot of tips to help ease the pain. This really helped us prepare... Mike did think we could reuse the baseboards we had, which we were having removed and reinstalled so the tile could properly go under it and fully to the wall without grouted edges. However, during the install we opted to buy new ones per the installer's advice. There was existing shoe molding added on all the base boards, which wouldn't look right if reused or reinstalled without the shoe molding. There was no extra cost, except for the actual new baseboards, as the price already included removal/reinstall. My wife and I painted them before install to make life simpler. So carefully consider your baseboard situation going in and whether you really want those old boards next to your new floor. You can get a good deal on builder packs at the big-box stores... That brings me to Elvin, the installer, and his crew. He was very nice, accommodating, and courteous. He takes pride in his work and took care to explain issues and get them resolved. They were working with 8.75"x36" tiles and I know they're more difficult to install and can sometimes have a bow to them. They also had to move quite a bit of furniture several times and had no major issues...amazingly. There were a few tiles where I noticed "toe stubs", the gap wasn't quite right, etc and he quickly had the tile replaced/corrected. Elvin even drove me to the hardware store to get new base boards, since we needed a truck, and didn't charge us any extra to make the cuts during the install. He wanted it to look right and I appreciated it. When we settled things up, some of the leveling compound wasn't used and that was credited back just like Mike mentioned. All the pricing was very fair and honest. There was a very small miscalculation on the final balance, but that was quickly resolved without issue. The employees at DFW Flooring Warehouse seemed like a family and were always very helpful. We really appreciated their help and their ability to make this as stress free as possible. We love the new floors and nobody can believe it's tile!"

"I was referred to Mike Jones by a family member and was not disappointed. Mike Jones is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and directed me to the best carpet for my needs. The price was right for very nice carpet. Mike was able to get my install scheduled with short notice right before Christmas when they were all booked up. The installers called the day before and we were able to schedule for 7 AM. The install crew was on time and very fast and efficient. They installed 3 rooms in under 3 hours and left they place as tidy as they found it. Very happy with Mike and his crew and will be using them again without hesitation."
