"Greetings! We celebrated our wedding at Los Portales Venue on 10/28/23, and the setting was absolutely enchanting. Our non-traditional Día De Los Muertos theme added a special touch that delighted our entire family. A big shoutout to L&J for catering – the food was truly enjoyable! In all honesty, we're leaning towards a 4-star rating due to a minor hiccup. We envisioned a laid-back atmosphere with our DJ playing our pre-mixed set, but there were moments when he introduced his own tracks or entertained guest requests, deviating from our initial plan. The cake cutting had an unexpected touch of race-themed music, a bit cheesy for our taste, followed by tracks not in our playlist. (I should’ve know at this point) We had specifically curated a vibe for our celebration, I even had to pull Oscar aside and had a small chat with him about the music and he sorted things out but it did create a shift in the dance floor vibe. Although there was a slight deviation, the overall experience was positive. We noticed a few guests heading out early after the music took an unpredictable turn by 9:30/10pm, despite the party going until 11. A mellow suggestion for future events: if you're keen on sticking to your playlist, consider communicating a no-requests policy to maintain the desired musical ambiance. While we may not strongly recommend the in-house DJ based on our experience, we appreciate the efforts made to host a memorable evening for us and our loved ones at Los Portales Venue. "We had our wedding here on 09.03.23 and it was so beautiful! The team at Los Portales is among some of the most friendliest and profesional I’ve ever worked with for an event. We met Oscar for a tour and knew right away this was the venue we wanted to have our intimate wedding at. The venue has such a cozy vibe with the ceiling decor having string lights and greenery. Everyone has not stopped talking about how delicious the food was too! The day of the wedding everything went smoothly, and the entire Portales team went above and beyond. A big thank you to Annabel and Fernando who made the entire day stress-free and fun.I’m so happy we had our wedding here and look forward to booking future events here!"

"As someone who was planning their wedding from out of town, I cannot thank Oscar and his team enough for making the process so seamless. He was so patient during the entire planning process and gave us great recommendations for food, entertainment, and other logistics. The staff treated my new husband and I like royalty and the day of coordinator made it so that all we had to do was enjoy our wedding day. My guests were very impressed at how the bartender was able to keep up with the nonstop drink orders and the DJ kept our guests on the dancefloor all night! If the beautiful greenery and building architecture aren't enough to sell you, the staff definitely will!"

"I got married in July of 2022 and had the best experience ever. Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful but the owner (Oscar) and all the staff are the kindest, most attentive people you will ever meet. Oscar is incredibly professional and does everything to meet your specific needs. The day of coordinator is also great at her job and helped me to feel like I didn’t have to worry about anything on my day. And last but not least, the service is AMAZING. Fernando, the server assigned to my husband and me made us feel like royalty the entire night and made everyone else feel like guests of honor. Everyone commented on how great and friendly all the servers were which I think really elevated the overall experience."
