"This is one of those shops with a legacy. It's been handed down from barber to barber over a lot of years. I only know bits of the history. The current owner took over from Ken who I think retired twice. Ken's wife seemed to work there as much or more than he did. He took over when it was called Eli's from a Lady that in turn took over from Eli, who retired after a lot of years at the chair. There was one change in location that I remember, and a great many associate barbers that came and went and sometimes came back... and then left again. It's a nice place with friendly people that do good work."
