"This was my first visit to any barber shop ever since I have been bald for over 40 years and just shave in the shower. But I decided to grow a beard for the first time in my life and see if I would like it? That being said, I was a bit hesitant to go but my daughters said I needed to get “lined up” whatever that means, after letting my beard grow wild. I checked the reviews of Bourbon City Barbershop because I work just down the street and thought I can just swing by one day after work. I decided to set up an appointment on line with Doug. The process to set up the appointment was simple even for someone like myself who doesn’t have good computer skills. It was a good decision as the shop, the environment and the guys who run the shop did not disappoint. Doug made me feel comfortable and at ease. We shared great conversation and he is very good at what he does. You can tell when someone’s enjoys their work by the quality of workmanship and even though this was my first time going the workmanship was excellent. I don’t need some Hollywood style beard with trimmings, lines, airbrush artwork and so on but just a nice, clean cut which is what I got. I enjoyed the experience and I recommend Bourbon City Barber shop to anyone who wants to experience a wonderful experience. The shop is eclectic with some local artwork, has several seating arrangements for waiting that are comfortable as well as relaxing. Overall I enjoyed my visit and it won’t be the last."

However, when I set an hour aside to have Doug give me a haircut and a beard trim I know I am treating myself to a relaxing and skilled experience. Doug uses top quality tools and products leaving you looking and feeling great.
