"I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place, it’s like a cool back room vibe. And the staff is always nice. But the food is never good and we always leave regretting coming back. Seeing as how there’s no good Chinese buffet options in San Marcos we always go at least once a year hoping they made the food better but it’s usually just worse lol a few dishes were okay. The broccoli and chicken was okay and the honey chicken was pretty good. And surprisingly the sushi isn’t bad at all. But everything else is weird and stale or soggy or no flavor. Even the noodles are just not good and that’s my fav part of a Chinese buffet. Anyway, I’m still probably gonna come back next year and see if it’s gotten better cause I’m a fool."
"Had dinner with friends last Wednesday. It was really bad! This restaurant is very dirty, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time! The floor was not swept at all!!! The waitress was acting weird. She basically sat near the fountain drinks and enjoyed the food instead of caring about the guests. But she brought us some crabs and shrimps and We didn’t need these."
"It's June '03 and hot inside restaurant. Food was old from being left out. The meat in the beef and broccoli was turning gray the pineapple and the salad area was white the sushi was warm I guess because of AC was not working bathrooms look filthy and gross. I wouldn't let my grandkids use the bathrooms at all just nasty who leaves kitchen tongs in there."
"I was in the SSC office with my roommate, who was quite hungry at the time. In a spontaneous decision to satisfy our hunger, we ventured inside. If we been aware of the available options beforehand, we might have made a different choice altogether and avoided the visit entirely. DON'T GO THERE! The food was below average. I'm not sure how this restaurant is still operating. The only thing I enjoy was pwran tempura; otherwise, everything else is terrible. It's a buffet, but I didn't get the buffet vibe. The entryway was a little different than other restaurants. There was some vending machines and some toys for children. This seemed a little unique. Bathrooms are terrifying. Really unhygienic. It was horrible. Yes, the restaurant had a Chinese vibe, such as the celling and the pillers, which reminded me of old Chinese homes. They also offer a party section and a decent seating arrangement. However, the entire place was dirty. The tables were clean, but the floors were unclean and dusty. and the whole place had a wired smell. It is restaurant with a chinese name with disgusting food."
"It’s the best Chinese buffet in 3miles. They have awesome decor! Christmas decorations year round. Sweet RGB/LED light setup. I’m super pumped to go back again soon… I really miss the Mongolian. They said it wasn’t working."
