"Whenever I go to Hereford Texas,I always stay at their Best Western. Its always clean with nice rooms and the staff is always friendly."
"Stayed here 4 days waiting on a truck repair. Very friendly staff, no complaints about the room. Good breakfast. I definitely would come back."
"Stayed here during family weekend visit. Had problems with the swipe card lock on the door of the room we had as our reservation room. The evening shift front desk clerk programmed 3 of those swipe cards, 3 different trips to and from the room. (Newly remodeled and installed door with that style of lock.) Front desk clerk rude to us, as if the dysfunctional swipe card and lock was our fault. Then she told us she could not move us, so we were almost out on the curb. She finally, almost grudgingly, said she could move us to a smoking room. We accepted. The room was clean and everything worked. The smoking room smell was unpleasant, but we were over the proverbial barrel. The complimentary breakfast was quite good. Great coffee. The second night, when we arrived back to our room at 10:45 pm, the swipe card would not work! Another trip to the same rude clerk for a reprogram of the key card. Then, no clean towels had been put in the room. Yet another trip to the office. (All of this in 5° weather.) The rude clerk said no clean towels placed in the rooms unless you ask for them. Also that the only clean towels were in the laundry and that she was not getting them. She then clocked out, 2300 end of her shift I guess. The night clerk overheard this exchange. She was very apologetic, very nice. She called the maintenance guy to go get towels for us from the laundry. She and the maintenance man saved the day. Many thanks to them! The parking lot was not well lit. We observed 3 different portable bbq grills at various places around the property. At checkout, we learned that the original rude clerk had not adjusted our charges from our original king bed room to the smokong queen bed room. The Sunday morning clerk was very nice and adjusted the final bill. Thanks to her as well. I understand that sometimes things break or do not work properly. We can live with that, but the rude behavior and sour, uncaring attitude made the little problems more irritating. All in all, a more interesting stay than we typically encounter."
"Worst hotel I’ve ever been. Rooms were not clean at all and dead flies smudged all over the walls of the room. Not worth the 100 dollars for staying a night only. Front desk staff was kind though."
"Room was... ok. Only two outlets worked in the entire room, one by the sink and one halfway pulled out of the wall by the door. No elevator for the second floor, so if you have a disability, and they say it's booked, you're screwed. Breakfast was alright. The worst part is if you get put facing the road, the truck noise is so intense, you can't sleep. Plus I think the bed was just straight plywood, because it was literally that hard. I won't be staying again, even though we're going to be in the area next week. I'll find somewhere else."
