"While this may be a beautiful jacket, it wasn’t worth what we paid. The owner took a down payment in October 2021 to order the jacket itself, as well as the patches for the year and name. She assured us we had ordered in time for the jacket to be complete by Christmas. A few weeks pass with no communication to update us on the jacket, and Christmas passes. Any communication we had with the owner past that point was initiated by us. The first excuse was that the patches had not been received in the mail. A couple of weeks go by, we find out the patches were never ordered. The owner deflects her own responsibility and makes an excuse that it is her employers fault. Assures us that we will have his jacket soon. Another couple of weeks go by; no progress has been made. The owner blames it on her employee quitting. Still, has not taken responsibility as the store owner that a mistake has been made and that she is responsible, as she is the one who hired that employee. We finally get the jacket in late February; only a few weeks to actually wear and enjoy the thing, if that. The owner assured us that she would make things right with us due to the jacket being WAY overdue, but still insists that it is not her fault. The owner not only charges us over $500 dollars for the jacket, but charges us AGAIN for the jacket we had already paid for. The owner insists that she does not understand why we are upset because she gave us a $30 discount and that she was taking a loss on this order. A WHOPPING $30 DOLLARS FOR A FIVE MONTH WAIT ON A JACKET THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE BY CHRISTMAS. If you want a letterman’s jacket, or anything custom made, I would suggest staying far away from the Boot Store on Main Street in Paris. It was an unprofessional, childish nightmare."
