"Had my Fry boots re-soled here and two weeks the heel came off. He did fix for free and I’m seeing some reviews that he also shined them for free. I did not receive that courtesy. Seeing mixed reviews here but and I’m more kind of venting just seems like a shine was warranted based on me having to go back."

"When o dropped off my shoes I received a glimpse of the nonsense to come. After paying over $100 in advance for repairs, the repairman said,” These are some big shoes.” I responded politely stating that they’re appropriate since I’m tall and I left Very improper and inappropriate since size has nothing to do with the service required. When I went to pick up my shoes, I was told I old and additional $50. When I asked what for he simply said, he did not charge me the $50 and I owed the $50. Again I asked what was the additional $50 for as it relates to my repair bill. I reminded him iPad upfront as required and I paid the amount that he gave me according to the repairs that were requested again I asked what was the additional $50 for. His response was he forgot to charge me and now I owe him the $50. I told him no I don’t owe you any additional money I am not paying for your mistake. He told me in a very firm and stern voice to “get out.” I smiled and told him gladly, and that I would not be coming back that his attitude and his customer service was not worth the price that I had to pay. While Ally was somewhat pleased with the job, I am 100% displeased with the the level of customer service."

"Does quality work at a reasonable price and he even did next day service for me. I just needed a new leather insole cut to put in my boots. He polished my boots free of charge. However, he did remove the manufacturer sole from my boots which I specifically asked him not to mess with and then glued the new insoles into my boots, which I also did not ask for. Be careful about what you ask them for, I guess he forgot or got confused on my order."
