"Yoo that black guy with the braces can cooookk!!"
"Not one to generally leave bad reviews but some people and some places just deserve it. Went to the location in the Conservatory Galleria and got a text that my food was ready, went to the counter and turns out my food wasn't ready, which ok, no big deal - I just patiently wait. As I'm waiting, more people start to hang around the counter (they also got texts saying their food was ready) and at about 15 mins after getting my text, there's now a group of 4-5 of us waiting for our food to which one of the guys working behind the counter looks at us and rudely says: "why are so many of you here waiting for your food" (before I go further, said guy had either 1 or 2 ear piercings, was short, and was either Indian, Pakistani, or Hispanic). The guy next to me then proceeds to tell him that he got a text that his food was ready in which the guy behind the counter turns to someone else behind the counter and loudly/rudely states something along the lines of "they're just telling me their food is ready without even telling me a name, like how am I supposed to know what your order is". Two things, sir: 1. there were only 2 plates ready and sitting behind him on the shelves meaning he prematurely text multiple people stating their food was ready, why don't you just look at the names on the ready orders and kindly ASK your customers if they're X or Y or 2. how about asking their name to begin with instead of just asking why they're standing around waiting for the food that they ordered and got texts stating was ready??? I get it was busy, but they definitely handled things very poorly. Other places that were busier than them were much more efficient. It's not even about the fact that they were inefficient or didn't have our food ready until 15 minutes after texting us that it was ready - these are small things I wouldn't have issues with, I get mistakes happen especially when a place is busy (although doing it to several people isn't a mistake). What I did have an issue with was how rude the guy behind the counter was and how he was blatantly complaining about customers to the other people he was working with. Idk if he's the owner, or an employee- but blatantly complaining about customers as they're standing feet away from you isn't the move. It's your fault that your process is flawed and inefficient, not the fault of the customers. Oh and to top it all off it was subpar food & the rice was hard. Food is also overpriced for the quality."
"The food was good! I got the birria ramen. I only give it 4 stars because their strawberry horchata was 6 dollars and it was not good at all"
