"To assume Velvet Taco is Mexican food wouldn’t be fair for Mexican food nor to the work and results these guys put into creating a new segment in what i define as hybrid Mexican inspired food. I was craving Mexican street tacos and googled tacos and this place caught my attention, so I had to give it a shot. Glad I did! It became an instant favorite of mine! Can’t wait to try fish tacos next! I had all three pork tacos and was floored by the originality of the food and how well trained and nice the staff is."

"Love the taco here. There was once I flew to California, arrived at the hotel hungry, And ordered a fish taco at the hotel restaurant. The fish was so tasty and the taco aroma was so fresh that I am still searching for that fish taco. Today I went to a barre class, hungry. Coming out of the class, I could barely walk. I started craving for fish taco again. I went to Torchies first. But their fish taco has only salmon fish. Then I found this store Well this fish taco is close. The fish is fried and that one in my memory was grilled. But I can say that this one allows me to settle with the world. Grateful."

"The place looks very nice. Its clean, the service is fast and the music is very trendy. The liquor selection is decent. The taco selection is based on the meat they serve. It's a hit or miss but the drinks make up for the tacos"
