"Came to grab some Sunday breakfast. Barbacoa, menudo, and some tamales!"
"Great place for Pollo Asado, homemade tortillas, salsas, and more. They're very consistent, so there's no disappointments. I take mime to go. Also, you'll have to order in Spanish. Love it."
"Just awesome. The folks behind the counter work hard, efficiently, and really get a lot done. The pollo is fantastic, and the tortillas are the best corn tortillas in the city. The Chile relleno is very good, shown in picture."
"I drove by this place the other day and figured I would give it a try without reading the reviews because I was in a hurry. BIG MISTAKE. I ordered 1/2 a dozen of pork tamales… another BIG MISTAKE. The mesa/corn flour was hard, discolored and stale. It was also super salty and microwaved. Krogers frozen tamales tasted better. Never the less I threw everything away after a couple bites. I should’ve threw it away when I saw the discoloration and smelled the bad meat. Shortly after my stomach began acting up. It was twisting and getting up almost immediately. I had food poisoning all day and night. Going to the bathroom and could not eat until the next day. I will never come back or recommend it to anyone. This place is ridiculous. Also, I asked for 1 salsa to eat with my 1/2 dozen tamales and they told my it would cost me 1.67 for a small container the size of a quarter. WTH. I was not asking for anything extra. Just ONE for my order. Who eats taco and tamales without salsa. I DO NOT recommend this place unless you want to be up all night vomiting and going to the bathroom. My next complaint is to the county health department. This place needs to be shut down!"
