"Ordered to go on a Tuesday night and this place was pretty busy when we arrived. Ordered our food at 6:09 and got an email saying our order would be ready at 6:31pm. I went up to the host at 6:30 and let her know I was picking up an order and after checking on it she said that it would be a few mins, no problem as it was crowded. At 6:43 they brought our food out and we headed back to our hotel which is located less than half a mile away. When we opened our food it was cold, we were super disappointed as we had to wait longer for our food and then received cold food. The food was okay but I’m sure it would have been amazing if it was hot. Maybe this place is fabulous when dining in but definitely missed the part for takeout. We did order frozen margaritas to go and those were great!"

Angie usually takes our order, and delivers it to our vehicle. Angie is incredibly friendly, and always checks to make sure everything is 100% right with our order. "What a lovely restaurant. Located in the Ford Center, it’s easy to get to and the parking is next to the garage. The food was great. Fresh, meat tender, nice levels of spice. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Beautiful decor and great lighting. We were there for a family night, but also a great date spot. Has a fun outdoor space with flames and heaters. But, the factor that puts it over the top is the friendly and helpful staff. We spent time with two different wait staff- José M and Stephanie V when we’ve been there- and both are fantastic. Knowledge, gracious and attentive. Highly recommend. One point I don’t get to bring up very often- the bathrooms are fantastic! Clean and beautifully designed and decorated. Ups the game, for sure."

"We have been going to Mi Cocina since the early 2000’s and Carlos was the best waiter we have ever had! He was attentive, polite, friendly and made our lunch so much fun! It was my birthday, and he was sure to celebrate me and brought out dessert with a candle. We love mi cocina!!"
