"If not for the good tamale, I would have rated 1 star. I ordered a tamale and El burrito XXL chicken. I do not recommend the burrito at all. They didn't give me chicken, gave me beef. I ordered to-go so I couldn't just switch it back out. They weren't crowded so this is not a mistake you expect. For $17 this burrito should have more. It's literally just meat, rice, they say beans but I only saw literally one bean, and I think there's cheese lined in the burrito. It needs more, at least Pico. It's incredibly dry. If not for the salsa verde I had at home, would be completely unappetizing. Sorry, but I'm not going back if this is the price and quality I get. There's better Mexican to get in Lindale."

"First time there. Sparce menu. Ordered chicken tacos and chips with salsa. I received beef tacos. Tried to tell the server but she just looked at me, smiled and walked away. I ate them anyway. Horrible! Very tough and chewy. The tomatoes were wilted and tastless. The salsa tasted like dirt. The chips were the only palatable thing served. I bagged up the chips and split. Never again!"

"Had to see what all the fuss about and why there were two 1 star reviews for Taquiera El Lugar. Got the chicken fajitas today for lunch. Got red and green salsa or sauce not gonna start that debate... The 1 order of fajitas made 3 very big fajitas filled with very tender marinated chicken, sauteed peppers amd onions on what surely were homemade tortillas. Our order took maybe 10 minutes. The red and green sauce sure had a kick but that's what i personally want to pour atop my fajita. Definately too hot for most people I would assume so use a little for added flavor. Will definately be back!"

"The steak tacos are amazing!! So delicious!! Chips & hot sauce were good, too!! Have been several times and not disappointed!! Atmosphere is fine! Loved the music! They aren’t completely open full hours yet. Add some rich color with artwork on the walls and it will be perfecto!!"

"I’ve eaten here in total 3 times and it was pleasant all around. Food was warm and yummy, sauce was GREAT. Love the service and the Person at front with the gorgeous lashes had a great attitude and my server was so so sweet!! WILL be back ♡"
