"Dropping off my dress to be altered was such a scary thought, and I went through countless reviews of seamstresses in town before finding the dream that is Brandy. I bought my dress online from Selkie (the Wildflower Kilburn Marie Gown) and fell in love with the pattern, but not so much with some of the extra details, which included bows-a-plenty. Brandy was so fun to work with, and even cut the dreaded bows off during our first fitting, immediately making me feel lighter and like the dress was more me. It also came with a ton of layers, but Brandy hemmed the dress so perfectly that I literally felt like Cinderella floating above the ground, and I didn’t even need a bustle with her craftsmanship. The neckline was also a pretty severe plunge, but Brandy used some extra fabric to give me a tiny bit more modesty without ruining the continuity of the pattern on the dress. Brandy’s confidence put me at ease from the moment I walked in the door, and maintained that confidence through picking my dress up a couple weeks before my wedding day. "Wow- where to begin. Brandy is literally an angel on earth. I called her my Fairy godmother for wedding planning. I had a rough go with finding my dress and subsequently finding the right seamstress who was going to alter my dress to make me feel more beautiful in it but wasn't going to cost me more than I paid for the dress. After two poor experiences with other local tailors, I found Brandy by the grace of God and she was hands down the best part of my wedding planning process from that point forward. "I am so glad I was referred to Brandy for my wedding dress alterations!! I had not had the best experiences with fittings/alterations in the past and obviously didn’t want anything to go wrong with my wedding dress, and I had the BEST experience with her!!
