"I just recently visited this store. If you are consigning, It's best to call first as they will give you an appointment and don't do consigning after 1:30 P.M., I think. I consigned 2 dresses, with cleaning receipts. The staff was very friendly and were excited to consign with me. The consignment expires after 3 months. I've consigned with them before, but that was before the pandemic. Baubles & Beads has a wonderful collection and I usually find something I like. I especially love their cocktail dresses. Their prices are very reasonable. I've been going there for the past 10 years."
"Horrible (actually zero) communication. Thought they could help me sell my prom dress. Called once a month to check on it. Just found out on my last call to them, that owner ended up donating it, without my permission… or even notify me that was the plan. Unprofessional and unacceptable. Word of advice sell yourself online. What a shameful business model."
"Manager is unfriendly. My friend and I visited the shop for the first time to consign a formal dress. We were greeted with "uhhh I have two consignments in front of you". We were offered no direction on how long to wait or where to place the dress while we waited. After ten minutes another employee tried to assist but was stopped by the manager because she "needs at least 10 items to consign for the first time". Would it not have been more productive to ask what she was consigning when we arrived? Will not visit again"
"This is a first stop for me when looking for something in particular. Geared more for the 30+ professional niche. Friendly staff and dressy, professional and casual items in many sizes at different price points. An example of brands you'll find include Lilly Pulitzer, Chico's and Talbot's. Nice sofa my daughter and husband can hang out on leaving me unrushed."
"What a bargain if you come on the right day. I got my Christmas outfits (costume parties) for literally nothing. Plus, I got a fab cocktail dress for ten cents on the dollar. I plan on checking this second hand store regularly."
