"Was just there to get my usual neck and sideburns trim. As soon as I sat down and told the employee I only wanted a trim she seemed annoyed and her attitude changed, my guess is she thought I just wanted a free trim which is usually free , BUT I always ask to leave a tip at the end. So she started asking me (with an attitude) if I usually go there to get my actual haircut which I said no and explained to her I haven’t gotten a haircut recently I usually just come here to get a trim since I been growing my hair out. So she told me it’ll be $5 which I said that’s fine and so I was explaining how I normally get my sideburns cleaned up and even showed a picture. She kept rudely asking me how I wanted it at this point the attitude was obvious so I asked if everything was okay and If she was having a bad day. She proceeded to take off the cape and denied me service I gladly go up and left. Been coming to this Sports Clips for almost two years and never had a employee act so rude guessing it was because she thought I just wanted a free trim , but like I said I ALWAYS ask to leave a tip at the end. Did not get the hairstylist name but it was around 1:45pm Thursday she was on the heavier side. If I could I would leave 0 stars. I think it is inappropriate to treat someone differently just based on the type of service they request for. I hope no other customer has to deal with this."

"We have come here many times and never had an issue. I don't typically like giving bad reviews because of one person, but I want to raise awareness because I don't know how many other people this has happened to. The stylists name was Derrick. Every other person my son and I have seen did fine and has always been kind. My son said Derrick was grabbing his head aggressively and obviously by the picture more was cut multiple times. My son didn't know to speak up, so he just sat there and took it. I didn't notice the redness till we got outside when he started to cry. I explained that ANY TIME anyone hurts him he needs to speak up, and especially if I'm there to stop it. The cut was also really bad, it was straight across the forehead which wasn't what we asked for. I took him somewhere else to get it fixed. Unfortunately they just lost a customer due to one person."
