"Wow. Just WOW. I have trust issues with people working on my hair. I don’t trust that just anyone can cut my hair to my liking, and me being particular without knowing how to explain what I want very well definitely doesn’t help. Being Asian, I grew up with my mom being the only person I let cut my hair. Bowl cuts - am I right? Then when I wanted some different cut and color, I let one other person from a specific salon cut my hair - I’ve only probably gone 4 times in my life. My partner on the other hand has also cut my hair a bit to help me keep up during this pandemic. This is the first time I wanted something completely different - long hair with an undercut fade. Being someone who burns up and whose skin is sensitive, I was tired of the little hairs sticking out at my neck and scratching me. Coming from a business perspective, my hair looking clean is very important to me so doing this was nerve wrecking and I needed someone good. After hours of searching all the salons in San Antonio and reading tons of reviews, I finally decided on Vee’s Chop Shop. I like the vibe I get from reading the reviews. It’s also LGBTQ friendly. Lezbehonest, Vee did an AMAZING job. Understood my choppy explanation, did a great job, had great vibes and exciting conversation, and worked with me.
