"There were a lot of empty shelves, plenty of employees working in and around aisles but never once acknowledged by the staff. The check out line was really long, but it seemed odd since the store didn't seem to have very many customers shopping at the time. I ended up just leaving.There just seemed to be a bad vibe about a brand new store that recently opened. I was very excited about having an Academy open in my town, but my first experience was a little disappointing. Academy is one of my favorite places to shop, and I am looking forward to going back and making a purchase."

"Very big Academy, a lot bigger than the one in Weslaco. This location is fairly new. Great selection of clothes, shoes, boating accessories , Yetis, treadmills, firearms, Definitely a great addition to the shopping plaza. Harlingen is growing!"

"Went by today and waited for employees to help me in the front to see some sunglasses there was 2 employees helping one customer and the employe just looked at me and ignored me. I waited 30 mins I believe she was the assistant manger there were lots of employees and not one could help until a man named Orlando helped us he was very kind he deserves great recognition thank you Orlando !"
