Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys - El Paso

"I'll begin by saying the staff and atmosphere of this barber shop is wonderful. The place is clean, the artist are very friendly and it's a very comfortable experience overall. With that said though, I believe I was severely overcharged for what I received. I paid for a premium cut, and I was under the impression that I would be getting a good makeover and a completely new style. Maybe it was my fault for not communicating properly or simply because what I did ask for wasn't so different from what I already have. I got a simple cut that took the stylist no more than 20 minutes to complete along with a wash and product application. Don't get me wrong, I had no issues whatsoever with the final result, but for $70 I wasn't blown away or left feeling any better than I would have if I got a cut at a barber who charges $25-$35. Again I'm not bashing the service overall, it's just that the final product and the feeling I had leaving was that I had overspent on such a common service. I'm sure their other services such as a manicure, or pedicure are definitely worth the money as they have added relaxation, amenities and other extras, but as a core offering of cutting hair. I believe I was overcharged, and I would probably stick to other less expensive alternatives that offer the exact same service."

"Finally tried this place out since I saw ads on it. While the prices definitely seem like a bit too much, I gotta say the experience is worth it. If you're looking to pamper yourself this place will absolutely take care of you. Don was my artist and man was I ecstatic about the results. Don shaped up my hair and beard exactly how I like, with awesome precision, friendly customer service and a phenomenal shave that was really relaxing. They clean you up well so you don't leave feeling all itchy too. I felt fresh and ,with the product they had, smelled really good as well. If you want to treat yourself, it's worth it. Would highly recommend, especially with Don!"
