"My pregnant fiance went here to exchange a pack of diapers we received from our baby shower. She is 8.5 months pregnant and they told her that they were not able to exchange since they had no proof of purpose. Sad to see HEB handle this situation so heartlessly. It seems that HEB's high growth strategy has come at the detriment of its customer service.."

"Worst HEB ever! Vegetables are overpriced, potatoes were rotten or dry. Meat department took 15 minutes to answer the Bell and only because they were paiged by cashier. Only went for advertised sale items which were not available Again!! was told alvin store ad was not correct when i showed them in print. So With my five items I went up to the 15 items or less Lane to watch a woman unload 50+ items. 4 lanes open..each 6 people deep. Not cashier's fault because policy states they cannot tell customers to follow rules. No Manager to be found. Just Take the 15 or less sign down if not going to enforce it! It's well worth the drive out to any other HEB then to go to this one in Alvin. Even workers of HEB don't shop here..they go to Krogers. Several customers left baskets there and went elsewhere including me. I've lived here for 25 years and only shopped this HEB 5 times..each time more disappointed than the last. Will drive to 288 and hwy6 Or Pearland..I recommend everyone else who can to do the same."

"I always loved to shop at HEB when I lived in Houston but this store in Alvin is sooo small. Not sure how long of this store has been here but I think they could use a bigger store. I came in here the night before Thanksgiving to get a pumpkin pie because my other store was sold out and also found that they had Golden Delicious apples. No one else in town sells them. You can't hardly find them anymore. So I went back a couple of times specifically to get those and the last time I was there they didn't have them anymore so I've had no reason to go back."

"Very well stocked, super clean, and employees ask to help. In most instances there's no need to shop elsewhere. Their prices are the same as the Pearland store. The line moved along quickly at checkout and the cashier was very friendly"

"HEB Cafe Ole makes the best Christmas coffee! We picked up the Holiday blend, Christmas Kiss, and Christmas in a Cup. All delicious! We also grabbed some turkeys and a ham. $5 12lbs turkeys are a crazy good deal!"
