"I could not be more disappointed with La Madeleine these days. Last week I ordered DoorDash and the meal I usually order was terrible. I thought, “OK, it happens sometimes”. I decided to try again so tonight I decided to carry out, and it was another terrible experience. My wife picked up the order on her way home and it was very incomplete. I was missing 4 items in the order, kids food, kids drink, cookies(highlighted by them so I assume they were out) and utensils. ALL items were listed on the receipt, 4 were missing. They did not say a word to my wife and she thought they were rude. Then the kicker of the night, for which will I never go back: halfway through my meal, there was a long brown hair in my food down at the bottom. I am bald, so not mine. I am so done with this place, after 9 years. What a tragedy this place has become."

"We ordered pancakes with ham, coffee and desserts. Pancakes are delicious, but the sauce to them is very salty. Coffee doesn't taste good. Some desserts are delicious, and some require more attention from confectioners."

"Stopped in for a nice breakfast with my hubby. Food - we both had omelets with side crossaint/toast. Yum. Why is the "appetizer" free bread so cold? Atmosphere- it was sooooo cold. But lucky for us, there was a table near the fireplace. Winning."

"Re-visited this location twice now. 8/26/23. Really good food Had the French dip and mushroom soup. Both were great. Fresh and piping hot. I'm glad I started coming back. Breakfast is great too. I get the Nouveau breakfast, yummy. Avocado toast super fresh and egg made to order, and what doesn't go with bacon. I've been coming to La Madeleine here in Kingwood for over 7 yrs. Today was quite a disappointment. Everyone was a little discombobulated. I ate with my daughter and spent $28. I had the french onion soup, it was cold, the soup didn't even melt the cheese it comes with. My daughter had the tomato basil soup, also cold. I had the french dip. I asked for extra au jus, nope they ran out. This at 1 pm. No manager seemed to be around and the staff not really caring. What a disappointment. This place used to be great and I used to have great memories."
