"Update: Breakfast Sunday morning, September 24th. Been a minute since we were here. Gotta fix that. We rolled in around 0830, before the Sunday morning rush. Breakfast was outstanding, as usual. My lovely wife had the porkchop (grilled) breakfast plate and I had the French toast combo breakfast. We both had coffees and water. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great. Speaking of great tasting, I don't know what coffee they use, but it is definitely diner coffee and is GREAT! (As Tony the tiger would say.) Highly recommended you go here, anything on the menu is truly outstanding. *************** Excellent service and the food was amazing."

"Their newer location here seems to have a higher average score on reviews, and this is the one I usually go to. When it comes to the quantity and quality of the food for the price that you pay, this is one of the best values in our area. I almost always get the steak omelet with homefries and pancakes. You can upgrade the pancakes depending on what's available at that time. I've had their hashbrowns once, and they were good, but this place has the best homefries that I've had, maybe ever."

"We recently moved to Stockdale so we are trying everything! We love having weekend breakfasts out of the home and we always pass by Baldy's. We stopped in for breakfast and it was EXCELLENT! Felt like good ole' home cooking. Large portions so come hungry and early to beat the rush. The staff is super friendly, patient and efficient. This is absolutely one of our "go to" stops for food!"

"Great great spot to stop by for Breakfast or lunch. Staff was amazingly friendly and motivated to serve 6 hungry people after driving for hours. The menu had many options and for a very reasonable price. The owner was walking around and greeted us to a smile and a nice chat. Will be returning here in the near future for a good American Texas meal."
