"Bread is not as good as it used to be. Used to come here when I was smaller and bread was good. Now it taste like moth balls and fabuloso chemicals. Very disappointed as it used to be my favorite bread"
"The worst customer service I ever experienced in the city of Brownsville. After mentioning that the food was not what I expected in presentation and disgusting flavor as well the server decided on her own to charge me for something I didn't like neither eat. The server was the cook and was coughing all over the food and handling my food without gloves after I said it was to dine not take out she literally proceeded to open the sandwich with her bare hands and had the audacity to say "since you tasted it I have to charge you for it whether you liked it or not". Horrible experience and the most grotesque customer service. Also, the place was filled with flies. I highly not recommend this disgusting place of poorly uneducated mannerisms and ridiculous bad service."
"I was very disappointed with their bread, tasted old, very dry and hard. I went in the morning thinking it would be fresh. Will not be going back. They now serve a sit down breakfast, I guess their attention is serving breakfast instead of making better sweet bread. Will not go back."
"Quality of the bread has dropped drastically in recent years. For one, the quality was never consistent. I guess it depends who's making it instead of a set recipe with consistent measurements. However, it's been consistently dry and hard as of late, and tastes too much of a strong spice. It's sad to see my childhood bakery get this bad. Hope things turn around for it."
"Nice big bakery and eatery Very affordable sweet bread/Pan dulce i purchased like 14 pieces of bread along with a 16 ounce coffee And 6 bolio breads all for about 13 dollars and change . Coffee was alright It could have been a lot better a bakery that sells coffee needs to pride themselves on the coffee they sell for it is the morning eye opener and the all day fuel for us. The bread was a little hard But not bad in taste."
