"Wow the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. NOT heavily breaded. Just dusted with flour and delicious spicey "sprinkles"?. The skin was super crispy, chicken cooked just right and the fries were also sprinkled in the great spice. They have delicious gizzards and a gravy to die for. Can't wait to go back someday just to get some chicken."

"Looking for a place to stop for lunch in our way home from SPI to SA, I read about this tiny place in Robstown that was featured on Texas Eats. Giant chicken strips with creamy chicken gravy? Yes please! We called ahead about 20 mins out and our order was ready for takeout when we arrived, piping hot and fresh. My husband and I should’ve split an order - it comes with 4 massive strips and fries. We could each only eat two, even though we mostly skipped the two rolls and fries - which were basic frozen fries doused in over-salty seasoning. I deducted one star for the fries, and the chicken was a bit salty as well. Still worth a stop if you are in the area and craving mass quantities of tasty and inexpensive chicken!"

"Chicken was moist and came with a nice crust. Once you get past the crust, the meat underneath lacked flavor. I do like their little spice rub that they garnish their chicken and fries with. Seating is near non existent, which is fine, as you can always eat in your car in the HEB parking lot across the street. 3.7/5"

"In town for business and heard nothing but good things about this spot. Must admit, they met all expectations as my shrimp and fries were crispy, and my chicken was season well. A must try in the area and have earned my "Certified Mad Good " rating"

"Saw this on Texas Bucket list. Very humble establishment located in the heart of Robstown just a bit off of 77. Super nice staff and pretty good chicken. Ordered a 6 piece mixed with fries and gravy. Chicken was cooked perfectly, was hot and tasty. Just a tad over seasoned for my taste buds but it was not a bad visit. Seasoned fries hit the spot as well. Definitely be back when in the neighborhood, but I will probably ask for easy on the seasoning."
