"I scheduled a appointment for 4:30pm. I arrived 15 mins early for the appointment. I was seated they had someone in the chair. I was patiently waiting. They called someone else ahead of me. I asked, when will I be seen because I had a appointment. They told me I’ll be next. I waited for 4 hrs and I still wasn’t seen. They were unprofessional. Long story short they don’t take appointments."

"Great braids, fast execution just a lack of attentiveness to detail. The lady looked at my hair and pawned me off to some other lady working there I honestly didn't know if I should have felt embarrassed or just insulted. So we finally get to the hair braiding after coming to a realization that my hair is too short for fish-bone braids. She started parting my hair jerking and pulling and just all kinds of roughness, at that moment I should have left and just forget about it but I felt it was mainly on my part since I have very kinky coarse hair. Okay so we get to the braiding she started off quite well, but I guess she deviated along the way once she got to the middle of my head. The cornrows started to slant drastically. I'm unaware of any of this I'm in the chair with my head down just completely oblivious. We finally finish and not once or even an attempt was made to hand me a mirror or even get me to see her work. But I did notice a lot of laughing and giggling as I stood up and even during the process so I guess to some degree she knew what she was doing or just didn't care what so ever. Like no one even attempted to make eye contact with me which in a sense raised a few red flags but I'm like ”meh”. So I'm being directed to the owner I guess and she's even a bit hesitant on making eye contact with me and tells me that it cost $40.00, a reasonable price for just regular cornrows. The whole take away since I'm just rambling and recalling what occurred is that the stylist did pretty shotty work I have no intention of returning or giving them any more of my patronage. 2/5 stars Lovely Braids 03/14/2019 9:35-10: 18 AM"

"This braid shop did exactly what I asked for. I needed to get my Senegalese twist touched up on the perimeter and wanted them twisted from the root (apparently everyone in Houston starts the twist with a braid & then twists) & they were the only ones that could do it. I had called 6 shops before. The shop was fairly clean (bathroom is a different story)& the women were nice. The price was also good considering what I'm used to paying. I love my hair. She took enough care not to twist too tight around my edges & the twist are neat & very pretty."

"I went in July and I love my hair. Got there early to be first and I was they started on my hair at 9:30 and was complete at 11:50. Now that's the kind of service I love. Fast and neat, I also purchased my hair at 25 a bag. Will be going back for my touch up and much more. Thanks Ladies"
