"Don't go !!! my daughter is a teen and went to Mod nails at the end of December and they cut her toe nail too much on the sides and after few days she started to have an infection. We tried soaking with salt and teatree oil and an antibiotic cream but did not work. We went to the doctor who prescribed a 10 days antibiotic and 2 different creams to apply. Her toe was getting a bit better but not healed so we went back to the doctor who prescribed another antibiotic. I am sure this was caused by the pedicure because she went with her friend and she got the same infection and she is struggling to cure it. We had another advice to go to a podologist as they might have to take her nail off."
"Andy is phenomenal! He is a nail genius! One time, I broke part of my toenail. When he was finished “reconstructing” it, you would never have known it was repaired—it was so perfect! He is amazing with acrylics and dip too! I won’t go anywhere else!"
"Ana took her time(: I LOVE THEM, I would recommend this place! She did an awesome JOB"
"Loved my experience at mod! Staff were great and were amazing with making my inspiration pics come to life! Clean, friendly, and amazing work. Will come back soon!"
"By far, the nicest nail salon of any one I have ever been. The owners daughter, I forget her name, did my nails. She spent all the effort making sure they were perfect! We talked a lot olabout the importance of customer service, something I've never expected to hear in a nail salon. They were great. I got my nails too long for work, my error, and I went back a week later to get them shortened....they did so for free. Seriously, I will be traveling an hour to go here every time I want my nails done. Kudos! Update: I'm so sad to say my more recent experience really disappointed me. I'm pretty sure today will be the last day I come here. I got a girl this time that I won't name but she's newer and she tries, she just pays no attention to detail- doesn't know how to smooth nails out or evenly cut. I tried to help her notice the mistakes but without outright being blunt and saying it looks terrible, there was really no way to tell her without creating a scene, and I don't like scenes. I came in the last time and, aside from my nails just looking bad, two days later they started breaking. I called to set up an appointment to get them fixed. I asked not to be placed with the same person that did my nails. Well, I walk in today and the owner's son ask we why I'm there, I explain and he calls her name to come fix my nails. I said to him "she's really the one that messed up my nails, not sure if I want to use her again", and he just nods and carries on. I'm not sure if he ignored me or just didn't understand but once again I got my nails done by this same person. Once again I don't like them. This time they won't break because they are extremely thick. Just like last time (hard to see in the pics) but the whole surface of the nail is bumpy. It looks like play dough on my fingers. I'm not sure why it would make sense to anyone at the salon to place the person that complained about the nails with the person that did them but that decision really should have been thought through... especially after I brought it up. This was my favorite nail salon. I spent too much time out of my day today (2 hours of travel and 2 hours for my nails- 8 hours total between the days) and the other day to be so dissatisfied. I really don't like to complain but this was pretty upsetting. I won't blame the girl because they really need to be checking the work their employees are doing to be sure it's acceptable."
