"I am posting this review under my husband’s account because I do not have my own. Monika is THE BEST!!! Not only do both of my girls and I go to her for cuts and color, she has also saved us from a major hair emergency. My daughter has waist length hair that became severely matted due to a braided hairstyle mixed with salt water and wind. I personally worked on detangling it for 10 or more hours. After being exhausted I wound up taking her to a different salon where two girls worked on it for another 5 hours. Needless to say neither was very successful and my daughter was losing hope that her hair would be able to be saved. Monika was able to change some appointments around to squeeze her in at the end of the day. She worked tirelessly over 6 hours to get the knot out. Although a ton of hair was lost due to the size and tightness of the knot, Monika managed to save a lot of her hair! We went back in a couple of days for a good cut and style and it’s barely noticeable! Monika was so gentle, patient, and as sweet as ever. She saved us from days of mental and physical anguish that most people could never imagine. She is AMAZING! My girls and I will never be letting anyone else touch our hair ever again!"
