"Had been a customer since 2018 when the business was in a two story house. The first appointment was stellar! 3 people on my head and was out in less than 3.5 hours. Paid only $175 with hair included. Unfortunately each appointment afterwards came with a longer wait time, more money and always someone new and different doing my braids. My last appointment here there were no more than 2 people on my head at once and the braiding lasted about 5 hours or so for small “box” braids but they weren’t really box braids because there were no true parts. I stopped making appointments when my last visit, my edges had come out for the first time in my 45 years of living on this earth!! I sent the owner a pictures of the damage and why after taking out my braids that they did previously I needed to cancel my upcoming appointment. She acted as if she was concerned but didn’t even refund my deposit money or call/text me back til this day… Not to mention that my natural hair was dyed blonde and that’s ALL you could see was my blonde hair through the jet black braids that were supposed to be tucked. I pointed it out during the process and was told that that was the best she could do. I had already paid upfront as far as the hold that was on my funds that could only be released by the owner which wasn’t even there. If it’s not possible to provide the style/service in its entirety then why collect the funds in the entirety? This place is all about collecting your money so that the business can pocket more and more money to pay for watered down unprofessional service and receive more and more upgrades that mean nothing if the customer that is affording you to do so is not satisfied. Collecting your money meanwhile making everything else that really matters secondary. The mere fact that you can send dozens of referrals and not even receive a mere thank you but yet still be referred to as “Queen,” is hilarious!! So yeah, no thank you! I still get braids every 2 months, my hair is back nice long and healthy. They are pain free and small waist long real box braids are only $120.00 for 3 hours. I am happy again that I found a real Houstonian and her daughters that are genuinely polite, fast and friendly and that charge a fraction of the price for extremely neat pain free consistently perfect braids. Read the owners unprofessional snarky comments and you will be able to experience her true character. There is no true concern with that being the fact. There should be no rebuttal or any negative comment coming from any owner or manager that’s entire purpose for forming a business should be based on customer satisfaction and IF the customer is not satisfied it is their sole responsibility to make it right. “Queens” do not carry themselves in that manner. How can a business model claim to protect and keep their customer’s hair healthy when the health of their hair isn’t even up to par?? So you’ve been warned now be wise in your decision making. I’ve paid full price, had to wait for my appointment after arriving on time and was unhappy about the outcome of my braids and the amount of money I paid but why? #2024CHOICES This is Houston!! No one has to limit their choices when it comes to hair services."

You get a live confirmation a few days before just incase you want to make changes .Not to mention ive had my braids in for almost 2 months and people are STILL asking me who did my hair .Very Professional yet down-to-earth ! The Beautiful young lady who created and materialized my Microbraids was Heaven sent with gifted guided hands and the kindest demeanor I’ve experienced in a long time! I’ve been a client of salon services for over thirty years and started getting my hair braided once every year to allow rest to my hair follicles. When I sat down in her chair I immediately felt relaxed and knew I was going to be taken care of! She’s gentle with her gathering, combing, parting and braiding of my hair!!! She has a whimsical voice and a gentle smile. You may ask why I’m sharing all of this- I am an avid BELIEVER, anyone with talent/skill can perform a task BUT, TO PROVIDE EXCELLENCE IN WHAT YOU DO REQUIRES- LOVE!!! For what you do/the people you’re servicing/ your craft and having the commitment to follow through to the completion of the service. "I have been getting my hair braided by the owner for years, and it is always a great experience with beautiful results. My braids are always neat and on point, and Polo is a true treasure. The salon is tidy and in a great location…there is also a great Mexican food spot next door that you must stop by and order from before or after you get your hair beautifully laid. Long story short I love this salon, and i’m grateful to have a hair stylist I can trust."
