"I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. I am incredibly upset with my service. I made an appointment for a mani-pedi. I had an appointment for 11:30pm, but I did not get attended to until 40 minutes later. I consider myself a patient person, but I am also busy. I allotted time out of my schedule for this. They just explained that they did not know that I was doing both a manicure and pedicure although I had called about 10 minutes before I arrived to confirm. I was also informed at that time that both services could not be performed at the same time because “it is uncomfortable for the client”. I explained that I did not mind being uncomfortable, and then they went on to say that they were behind schedule and that’s why they couldn’t attend to me. I wish that they were simply transparent from the get-go. During my manicure, I got cut and was bleeding (see attached pictures). This service took about 1hr 45 minutes. At this point, it was almost 2pm. I was pressed for time, so I asked them if they could shorten the pedicure to a 30 minute service because I was really hoping to get both services done. They said that they could not. I immediately called another nail shop and booked a 30 minute pedicure. I have never been to a nail shop where I spent two hours just to get my manicure. I was astonished and very disappointed. I understand that times are difficult and you may be understaffed, but your clients should not be treated like they’re burdens. The customer service was terrible, and I will never be going back. In response to the reply from Mayi Nails Spa: 1. I was not attended to within 10 mins of my appointment. My appointment was at 11:30pm and they began working on my nails at 12:07pm. I was told by the manager that they did not know that I asked for a mani-pedi and they assumed that it was two different people getting those services. I made the appointment a day before and called on my way to confirm. 2. I did not have acrylic nails on. My nails are naturally long (as I have been growing them for months) and I had powder on them. This usually requires the nail technician to shave them down before refilling them. No soaking off is required, but this was done today (and it was my first time experiencing this with my natural nails). Regardless, this “removal” process was done within 10 minutes. The length of my nails does not justify the 2.5 hours spent at this facility for a single manicure. 3. I appreciate that that it takes time to complete these services, but this should be clearly disclosed beforehand. When calling to schedule on 2/22/24, I made it clear that I wanted both services together and was assured that if I came at 11:30am that this would happen. None of your competitors require booking 3-4 hours of the day for a mani-pedi. You can therefore understand that I was not expecting to spend 2.5 hours on a single manicure and have to leave to somewhere else to get my desired pedicure. 4. Customer service. Accidents happen, but it was unfair to leave injured and not be compensated at all. I felt disrespected throughout the entire visit. I am writing this review, not out of malice, but so that people are clear in understanding that when they visit this nail spa, they should not make any other plans in their day."

"This would have been my third time coming here. I had scheduled the appointment 2 weeks ago for a refill and they called me to reschedule which I had no problem with so I agreed to. I show up at the new appointment time and they had no one available for me. They asked me to pick a color and I waited 20 minutes before someone came to take my old nail color off then she had me sit next to the tech who would be doing my nails. I waited another 20 minutes and eventually just left. Other people came in and were given service while I just sat there and waited. I am incredibly disappointed and upset about the way I was treated today. Now I’m stuck with crusty looking nails and hoping to find another place that can fix this. I was really looking forward to becoming a regular here but I don’t think I’ll be back again."

"Best nail salon ever in this whole world. I would recommend if you need to get a massage to relief some stress come here it's the best in tho entire world. It gave me a massage, I'm a man, and gave my sister and mom such pretty nails. If you ever need a massage or nails come here. The even give you drinks if you're thirsty for a water or coke. They talk as if you knew everyone so it's a chill environment. Overall it's a very good location in my opinion"

"I honestly will never go back to my old salon after coming to Mayi's Nail Salon! The owner does speak English but most of the employees speak Spanish. I AM LEARNING SPANISH so I can communicate better with them because all of the staff are SO SWEET. They take their time -- no cut cuticle beds/bleeds, no hot fingers from the nail drill. They care about your safety and your nails health. I haven't gotten tips in so long due to the multiplex gel that allows my nails to grow out and strong. I honestly cannot tell you how much I love this salon. Forever a happy customer here"
