"I asked to get smaller sized feed in straight backs I even sent a picture at the very beginning of the week to verify if it could be done. When I sent the picture o was told it could be done. Verbatim the response was “great”. Immediately when I got there and the woman requested to see the photo and told me to wait as there was someone getting their hair done until 30 minutes after my apt time. It wasn’t until she finished her previous apt that she told me she wouldn’t be able to do the size I requested. I’m furious because she should have told me this in text at the beginning of the week when I ducking asked. Time wasted. I could have made another apt for today. Terrible customer service."

"I really was hoping this would have been a good experience because I’m looking for a good place to have my hair braided. I showed up before my appointment only to be told I would have to wait an hour or longer because over booked. The lady who washed my hair did not do a good job. She used no moisturizer and was rough combing my hair. I have never had so much breakage. All I want was to have my own hair washed and cornrowed. Maybe she was upset because I told them the reason I made an appointment was so I wouldn’t have to wait over an hour. I would have been fine if the wait was a few minutes. This was the first time I didn’t tip the person doing my hair. I’m happy that they do a good job for a lot of people. I went because they had over 4 stars."

"I went here to get my hair braided after searching for a few weeks. I love that they didn't make the braids so tight I needed pain meds lol. The price was cheap and my hair came out AMAZING! I told the lady I was tenderheaded and she was so gentle. I will definitely be going back!!"

"I have been getting my hair braided at Mayi's Beauty Salon for several years now. All of the young ladies there are very nice and very respectful. The shop is always clean and well kept. Now let's get to the hair braiding. I love their hair braiding. This is why I continue to go back. I get compliments everywhere I go on my braids, even when it's time for a touch up. I thank God for this shop and its' staff. They are a vital part of my life. Their new location is great! I highly recommend this shop for your braiding hair care needs."
