"Let’s start by saying this was my first time going here , today is my daughters bday and she wanted a simple trim went to this location there was literally absolutely no one in there except the hair dresser , signed in and was told she would be with us in a few minutes. Was totally fine with, then she calls my daughter to have a seat until another lady walks in and demands to be first because she stated last time she waited 20 min , the hair dresser literally tells my daughter to wait and seats the other lady !!!!! We left ! I think that’s very rude and very unprofessional definitely will not come back"

"I just got my hair cut at the SuperCuts at 5114 Broadway in San Antonio, TX. It was a very bad experience. The man who cut my hair began by complaining about other people. I didn't fully understand what he was talking about. He didn't ask me what I wanted. I had planned to get the tea tree treatment, but he talked so much, I didn't have the opportunity even to ask about it, so i didn't get it at all. Also, most of his conversation was just complaining. He started talking about his 4th of July plans, and spent a lot of time saying dismissive and disparaging remarks about his sisters. It was just uncomfortable. He barely asked me what I wanted for my haircut, and he cut the back a bit shorter than I wanted. Also, he pulled my hair a lot, and it was kind of painful. At the end of the cut, he put some kind of coconut oil/gel/mousse in my hair, which made it dry/crunchy. Also, he did this without asking if I wanted it. I HATE the smell of coconut. As soon as I got home, I washed my hair TWICE, and it still smells like coconut. Ewwww. The whole experience was just awful. I was uncomfortable and on edge the entire time, but I didn't want to say anything as we were alone in the salon. I don't know his name--maybe Whit? He is 60 years old, and he just looks grouchy. All in all, this was one of the worst experiences I've had in a hair salon. It was more like being in a barbershop, not a salon."

"Deven did my haircut and I’m not sure if it’s completely her fault, there was 5 appointments made at the same time and I can tell she was over it. I asked for my hair to be in 2 layers and it was done horribly. My hair is so choppy, the layers are extremely noticeable, and I will not be coming back"

"Don’t bother. This place is a joke. Had me waiting 30 min after my appt time (while 8 months pregnant) only to take someone else ahead of me. A simple “I’ll be right with you, this person had an appt before you” if that was the case, would have been considerate. Extremely rude staff who has no idea how to cut hair properly. Appointments mean nothing to them."

"My mother and I went in today and we both got shampoo's and cuts. Sylvia helped us all along the way! Not only did she give us great cuts, she listened to our requests and worked hard to fulfill our expectations. She DID her thang!!! I think we both look great and we will be visiting Sylvia again. Not only is she a great hairdresser she is very helpful and informative about the upkeep and products to use for your haircut."
