"I take no joy in posting a negative review, however, I take even less joy in having a negative experience. I have been going to this salon for pedicures for almost a year now and have always had a positive experience. I always get a gel polish because it lasts longer. I only go for pedicures because I do my own fingernails, which means I have some of my own products. Yesterday I went in for a pedicure and because I wanted a color that I owned, I decided to bring it along with me. Knowing that these products perform at their best when used with their own system, I also brought the base and topcoats. I was not thinking of any price reduction in services, only the color I wanted. Yes, i usually pay the additional $20 for gel polish with no problem. The first problem was that the person doing my pedicure must have even less education about and experience with products than I do because they were completely unnerved by the sticky dispersion layer left once the topcoat had cured, obviously not aware that this occurs with products that at not non-wipe. Then upon checking out, I see that they are indeed charging the $20 for gel polish so I asked about it in regard to having provided my own polish. The lady answered that they charged that because they had used their base and topcoats, to which I replied, "No ma'am, you used mine which I brought with me". She then proceeds to do what amounted to shrugging it off and saying something along the lines of "Well, we just charge it anyway". This is frustrating due to the woman's attitude and due to the fact that the only thing the salon used for my gel polish application, that didn't belong to me and would not have been used for regular polish was the LED lamp. Seriously? I own one of those as well, so had I brought it with me would you have charged me $20 for the electricity? Yet, they freely hand out glasses of wine, frozen drinks and sodas. Frustrating, disappointing and irritating."

"My first experience at the salon was disappointing. Despite requesting a simple French pedicure, it took a whopping 2 hours+ to complete. Moreover, my toe nails were excessively filed and drilled, leading to a painful cut on the side of my big toe. The only compensation offered was an $8 discount, which hardly makes up for the inconvenience. Needless to say, I won't be returning."
