"I’ve been to more than a handful of salons in Denton ; this one by far is my best experience … the overall 4.2 had me doubtful truly ; but Devon came through on my nails , she was very patient , open to ideas , and really had the desire of setting those nails as in the photo I had showed her , this salon aims for customer satisfaction and it shows . I’ll be returning! :)"

"I liked how the first woman shaped my nails and the man that did my pedicure but the lady that polished them was rushing trying to help multiple people as she was polishing so it turned out sloppy. You can see she didn’t clean up the polish around my cuticles. I feel like they need more staff. Other than that it was a peaceful and relaxing shop. This is the first nail shop I’ve been to since moving from Vegas so I was hoping they’d be my go to moving forward but unfortunately I won’t be coming back and will seek another place. On a side note… I loved their prices!!!"

"Not even a week and these nails continues to break over and over for the third time I have to pay $8 for repair pair breakage. I would not recommend this nail salon as you can see the my full set looks a mess has lumps and bumps that was done by May. I have provided pictures below that shows it’s not time for a fill yet. I only have had these nails on so far a week by tomorrow I went the day before Thanksgiving. Update from yesterday not even two weeks yet and now all my nails are lifting. I paid $70 plus my revisits for repair price thanks for wasting my time and money. I added my pinky nail because I got this repaired Sunday and it broke all the way off today."

"DO NOT GO HERE! Terrible customer service from the manager. I wanted to find somewhere that was not as busy as my normal place since it was always hard to get in without an appointment. I found VIP Nails, the first few visits were great for pedicures but today I decided to splurge and get my nails dipped. I asked for almond and mind you, I have fat middle fingers and I was worried the nails would be too skinny, I even voiced my concern to the girl as she was cutting the tips. When she finished, the nails were NOT smooth, they were bumpy and you could see it under the finishing polish and when you turned my mail to look at it from the side. My middle finger nails were pointing upwards and you could see my natural nail on the sides. They were thick near the cuticles and not even smoothed to blend into my natural nail. I don’t like complaining, it’s extremely rare but I was not happy with my nails. Especially being a single mom with not a lot of funds to splurge on myself. I had the manager called over and let him know I was NOT happy and he pointed out that it “matches my natural mail shape” which it did not, and he asked me what I wanted him to do about it. I told him I wanted it fixed and pointed to the lady next to me saying I want them to look like that. He said everyone’s nails are different, I told him I understand that, that I’ve been getting my nails done since I was a teenager (I’m 34 yrs old) he didn’t want to hear it and started talking down to me in front of the entire salon. I started to get upset for his unprofessional approach. He asked me again what I wanted him to do and at this point I told him to just take them off, I’ll go to my regular place. He gave me a bowl to soak them off but never checked back in with me. My fingers were covered acetone and polish, he didn’t offer to clean them off or anything. Thankfully my salon was able to squeeze me in and they look AMAZING! Exactly what I asked for. I’m never going back to VIP Nails. (Pictures are after they clipped the tips off before I soaked them off)"

"When I came in I was asked to wait but someone actually started helping me immediately. She drilled the topcoat off my nails and got one hand in a plastic bag with a small amount of acetone and left. I waited a while and all the polish was off that hand so I took it out. She came back and didn’t drill the other hand and put my hand back in the same plastic bag. I saw her walk over and work on another person’s nails. I realized she used the same drill on us both without cleaning it. Also, the acetone was saturated with the polish and glitter so it just redeposited the polish back on my hands. I had glitter under my nails. I got up to wash my hands. She walked away past me when I was washing and I said I needed more acetone to get everything off my hands and nails. When I sat back down she wanted to use her drill with the paper tip on my skin. I told her I did not want her drilling my skin. She insisted and I said I was leaving. I got up and walked out. A man followed me to my car and demanded I pay $12 for service and I said I didn’t get any service. He followed me to my car and threatened to call the police. So I went back in and paid to avoid him calling the police. I am concerned about the cleanliness and the safety of this salon. I wish I could give them a zero rating. They don’t deserve one star. The photos show how much polish and glitter is all over my hand that she wanted to use the drill on."
