"Dr Ramirez was my doctor since I was born and now I’m 29, and I chose him as the doctor for my son whom is now 1 year and a half. I got a job there and let me tell you the management to me is by far the worst. These reviews are for public use and shouldn’t be used TO DISCRIMINATE just because the manager can’t get along with facts that are stated! I took in my son 3 days ago with cough and congestion and fever. He did not get tested for RSV since they had run out of tests, so sarita gave me a prescription to go get a respiratory pcr done at mission hospital, so I take him right after I left the clinic for the hospital to tell me that it need a pre authorization from the insurance. So I leave the hospital the registration person n called them and told them if they could get that authorization and they said they would work on it. Fast forward today my son woke up worse and when I’m seen the office manager HILDA RUIZ calls me to go into the room and talks to me in a bad attitude going at me and tells me about the authorization and tells me to get another doctor since “I’m not satisfied with how they treat my son”. Never was anything mentioned about the nurse practitioner or Dr Ramirez at all. And there was no reason she should have came at me like that if she doesn’t like me that’s her problem now my son sits positive for RSV when he could have been treated since esrlier and they could have had the tests on hand even if they get un stocked. I’m waiting to speak to dr Ramirez as I called his Personal cell number she said she has the authorization to send me off to another doctor when doctor Ramírez has seen both my sister and I as babies and never had issues with him. He needs new management that’s why staff doesn’t last And wait my earnings haven’t been reported to social security by her or the accountant. And I have yet to receive my refund. Talk about discrimination and retaliation !!!!!!!!!"

"I have raised six children and have been going to Dr Ramirez office for over 14 years. Dr. Ramirez is an excellent doctor but the staff on the other hand some are great and friendly and others it seems simply do not want to work. I took my daughter in today 04/20/2022 approximately 5:55 pm and it seemed as if they did not want to see us as soon as we walked in the door. The waiting room was empty to my surprise and I was just there for my daughters annual check up, as she just turned 10 on the 9th of April, so my thoughts is that we would be in and out. I approached the window as usual and there was no clipboard to sign in. I was asked if I had an appointment, which I did not and I was ask to wait a moment as the medical aid checked with someone in the back to see if we could be seen. I take it she asked a gentleman by the name of Isiah as he was "in charge" in his own words. I clipboard to sign in and then I was seated. A few minutes later I am called to the window and asked for my I.D. I found this odd as this was the first time in all these years I had been asked for my I.D. Then as my identification came up as the father, I'm guessing they looked at the birth certificate?, I was then asked for court documentation that I was the custodial parent because if not they could not see my daughter. At this point I was a bit frustrated and asked to speak to Dr Ramirez personally as he knows I and only I have been bringing the girls in for the past 6 yrs and only me. I was asked to wait only to be told a few minutes later that he was not in the office and they did not know when he would be there. I asked again because he seemed odd they did not know when the doctor would be in. After I left the office I called and made an appointment and was told the doctor would be in after 1:30 pm tomorrow. (Why was I not have told if I wanted to see the doctor I would have to come back tomorrow at 1:30 pm.) Cherry on top of the cake, I was told their records had not been updated since 2018. Tonight was an absolute circus and the waiting room was EMPTY. *04/25/22 Went back today was told that "Doctor" would make one time exception to see us but next time I would have to bring in court documentation and yes they made me wait forever of course. Doctor the best but office staff is extremely unprofessional. The previous visit they asked for my drivers licence yet they do not even have a copy of her birth certificate so at this point I have said my fair well to Dr. Ramirez after he saw my daughter and then I showed the staff up front the court documentation showing I have had full custody of my children since 2018 through the Texas judicial system and since 2018 have taken my daughters in numerous times with no problem at all. After reading the other reviews about the staff it is clear that this has been an issue for many years and that reflects on the office manager. There staff is the same and most have worked there for years."
