"False advertising, I stopped here to grab a couple packs of cigarettes. The price per pack of cigarettes was $9 something, but if you bought 2 packs it was advertised as $8.29 per pack. This is a lie even before tax the subtotal was over $20 for 2 packs and after tax it came out to almost $22. This is stupid, they couldn't even honor the price they labeled it as, how difficult is it to change the price of a pack of cigarettes on a DIGITAL SCREEN. It would maybe take 10 minutes. I'm not shopping here again when I leave."

"I usually have a good experience with Love's, but I need to bring up a specific issue. My truck driver recently stopped at this Love'sto have a trailer tire inspected for a suspected air leak. Knowing that the tire was in good condition, my intention was to get it repaired, not replaced. However, Love's insisted on replacing the tire, citing a screw near the sidewall as the reason. Though skeptical, I agreed to the replacement but asked that the old tire be held for my personal inspection. Love's agreed, albeit reluctantly, and only for a short period. I drove 140 miles round trip to inspect the tire and, when calling ahead, was initially told the tire was gone. After voicing my concerns, it was miraculously "found." Upon inspection, my suspicions were confirmed: the tire could have been easily patched. The attending manager, Lupe, mentioned that Love's policy doesn't allow patching in cases like this due to safety reasons. While I understand the importance of safety, I also wonder about the resale value of such tires for Love's. I took the tire to another shop, where it was patched for less than $40 and confirmed to be DOT-compliant. Attached are photos for your review. It raises the question of whether the initial decision to replace the tire was strictly about safety or also commercially driven."

"I went in here about a year ago and sympathize with the negative ratings posted. HOWEVER, on my recent visit on 10/21/23, I was impressed with the difference since. Men’s restroom and shower were very clean, personnel were friendly and helpful, and the store itself had a nice appearance. They’ve stepped up their act, no doubt."
